Could Bertie Have Anul Gland Problems?

bertie suffers from awful windy pops, he did have an upset tummy for a while and now his rear end stinks of fishy badness......is this anul gland problems?

 

ive phoned the vets and might be able to get an appointment tommorow.....

thanks....im gonna phone them tommorow as they are busy today!!!!

 

the smell has gone for now.....and he only has windy pops in the evening.....it only happens when i want to sleep.....esp when its too cold to open the window :sick

The fishy smell is definitely his anal glands. But it's possible they were full, that he "expressed" them himself when he pooped, and now is fine.

 

Just watch for him scooting his butt across the floor or carpet: that'll be a sign that he the glands need to be expressed again.
