Guest weisster Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 A friend's greyhound came to visit today. She didn't stop eating greens. I mean weeds, strange weeds, etc. Drank a lot of water. Went home and started eating the houseplants. Dog is now resting..hasn't eaten food. There was excessive drooling which has stopped and retching without vomitingAdvice Quote
Guest SusanP Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Was the owner there, permitting the dog to eat strange weeds? I'd consider the possiblity of posioning and consult a vet. Quote
Guest weisster Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Yes the owner was there and the dog had a stomach problem from the day before. Quote
Guest MyBoys Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I think the dog REALLY needs to see a vet right away. Quote
KF_in_Georgia Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I think the dog REALLY needs to see a vet right away. Ditto. If the dog is this miserable on Day 2, there's something wrong. Guest kydie Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 My pack will eat grass, and even then I stop that, eating strange things is sure a sign of a tummy issue, I think I would see a vet too! Quote
Guest Energy11 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 VET here too! I don't like the drooling ! Quote
Guest SusanP Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 How is the pup? What happened? Hoping for good news. Quote
