Guest Energy11
Could be a benign mass or an infected anal gland. Good Luck! CUTE butt, though :-)

Guest greytexplorer
that looks exactly like the tumor Peace just had removed..same area, color..it was a perianal mass, not cancerous my vet doesn't want to remove it if it's B9, due to location and vascularity. Why did your vet remove it? And where are YOUR pictures??? (sorry, this really isn't funny, but right now I'm in a laugh or go crazy mode)

(sorry, this really isn't funny, but right now I'm in a laugh or go crazy mode) Peaces mass/tumor was growing, for the longest time it was just a bump there on her bum but it got bigger and I was told it would continue to grow and eventually she would not be able to go to the bathroom and she was beginning to bite at it and it looked very irritated right before it was removed. needs batteries for the digital..plan to post pics of Peace with her comfy cone, its an incredible stink eye shot! butt pics of my girl? don't think so..smiles
seeh2o
My non-grey, Sheila, has something that looks very much like that. The vet said it wasn't an anal gland and it hasn't changed in size much for the last few months. She just wants to leave it alone for now. She's not worried about it being the big C. So far Sheila has had no discomfort or problem pooping.
