Guest FrostyBottoms Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 With all the fresh fluffy white snow, who knows what she stepped on while running in the yard this morning.....it wouldn't stop bleeding, so we took her in to the vet. It was a pretty good gouge....3 stitches. Vinny is such an attention hog he was practically in the vet's lap while he was in the middle of stitching Frosty, so Dr. Adam gave Vinny some wrap too so he wouldn't feel left out! Quote

rschultz Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Oh gosh that pic reminds of lexie doing the same thing last year in the snow. Ran around and hit something had to get stiches too. WE think the only thing it could have been was a light hidden under the snow but who knows. Anyway, it was so hard to keep it dry from the snow someone on here said to get the therma paw. It was like 17 dollars and sooo worth it. Just slips on goes all the way up their leg. I can't remember where I got it. Maybe someone on here will know. I also used gallon ziploc bags over her leg after first wrapping with saran wrap. Good luck. I feel for you and the "lil one" Quote Lexie is gone but not forgotten.💜
