there were 3 females left, i passed on his info to my local adoption group so if he cant sell them he can speak to them.

so far she is learning not to chew on people and only on toys and walking on a leash is pretty funny to watch..... she also thinks she gets to sleep on the bed with us! :inlove

she got chased by the cat tonight too... so when we say no kitty she should learn to listen before kitty gives her a beating :lol:

She's very cute!

How many other puppies does he have? Is there an adoption group that is close that could step up for them?

I hope he doesn't sell them to the wrong people. :( Did you pay $100 for your pup?

My first greyhound also came home at 3 months (now 1 year). The first thing you'll have to deal with is the complete amazement/admiration from everyone, including your vets, as very few folks apparently ever get the pleasure of meeting a greyhound puppy (is that a whippet? Is that a???? What IS that???) Even my vet, who is a greyhound specialist and has several of her own, had never seen one so young. She drew standing room crowds at the vets - docs and techs would leave their other clients to come and see her. Spicy had to "endure" endless attention and affection from everyone she met. Other than that, she was simply a puppy and with all the boundless energy that entails. She'll need a lot more excercise/play time/cuddle time than you may be used to with other greys. She will be more bonded to you and overtly affectionate than many retired racers (not all of course). As she grows, you may find it difficult to find other puppies that are big enough to play with her. Spicy's favorite play companion turned out to be a little wheaten terrier puppy. They absolutely adore each other but as they started out at 10 and 25 lbs respectively and now are at 20 and 70lb respectively, they need to be supervised simply because of the size/weight difference. My pups biggest disappointment is that she can no longer be carried around in my arms or fit in my lap (although she tries, she tries...!) Enjoy!

Why yes, yes you are. :lol But you're doing a good thing.

Have you found a rescue to help you? Who doesn't want puppies? :P

I might be picking up 9 now.....

And no adoption group lined up yet - His friend has 2 Males and 2 Females only 3 weeks older than the current ones that he wants to get rid of. Only thing that's stopping me is I don't have $900 to get them all :(

If I could get one to SC I'd take one. Seriously. And pay for another for somebody. I have no earthy idea how to get one down here though!

maybe talk to an adoption agency in the US and see if they would be willing to transport it from the border if someone drives it there from here. thats how we get our hounds up here.

think about it.... it might be worth it. :)

Brandi let me know how many you are bringing back and i will start trying to find homes for them ( good homes). if you cant get rid of them all we are moving in feb and may be able to foster.... ( dont tell adam i will break it too him slowly he will loose it).... it all depends on Vegas and his health at that time.

Could they fly? Like, if people in the US wanted them could they be shipped if paid for? Or is there restrictions from Canada to US? To get Argos from Spain was easier than getting a person to Spain.
