Guest tigerlily Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 (edited) i was relieved to hear that no cancerous cells were found..they did 3 different slides.... the vet did say there was a chance they might not have gotten in the area where the cells were...if there are any, but its a pretty good sign there arent any.. i pray.. it did show though, that the swollen gland is being caused by some infection somewhere..but where we dont know..so we are to keep her on antibiotics for another 2 weeks, keep measuring the gland and see if it grows or shrinks, and take her back in 2 weeks for the vet to check her.. i am exhausted from the long wait in hearing, but so glad i didnt hear the C word..so keep her in your thoughts and prayers..she seems bright eyed and bushy tailed and i want her to stay that way.. and thank you all for being there and praying last week..it got us through..thank you all..
