Guest lynne893 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Timber's wonderful vet recommended we begin giving her glucosamine and baby aspirin for her limp (arthritis). I learned on this forum that I should give her about 1200 mg/day glucosamine, but how much baby aspirin? She weighs about 57 lbs, and is 9 years old. The baby aspirin tablets are (tiny!) 81mg. One a day? Two a day? What do you give your grey for mild-to-moderate limp? I gave her one tablet this morning and she definitely seemed to benefit from it today.... Thank you, Lynne & miss Timber Quote
Bevd Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I think you need to check this info with your vet. Can you give them a call and ask them? CaliforniaGreys Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I agree, I would ask the vet. You may want to ask what your vet thinks about using Ascriptin Quote Missing my little Misty who took a huge piece of my heart with her on 5/2/09, and Ekko, on 6/28/12 For the sick, the lost, and the homeless
