Guest Bodie Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Last Saturday, exactly a week ago, the vet called at 2:00 p.m. to say she was on her way. That was the last time I looked at the clock that day, so I'm not sure exactly when Bodie left us for the rainbow bridge, but at 2:45 this afternoon, he sent us a sign. It has been cloudy all day and raining off and on. At 2:45, the clouds parted and a rainbow formed between the clouds and the ground - the rainbow looked exactly like the one in the signature photograph below. Lew spotted the rainbow through the window and we both ran outside to look. The rainbow stayed only a minute before it dissolved and the clouds came together again. Shortly thereafter, it started raining again. The rest of the day remained cloudy and rainy. Is it a sign from Bodie that he has reached the bridge and is OK? I think so. The bond between us is very strong and I think he would know that I am missing him. That is why he picked that time - so close to his crossing a week ago - to let me know he is OK. Thank you, Bodie.
