Subject: Special: Thanks from our Hearts

 

Dear List Friends,

 

If no one famous ever said "Grief shared is grief diminished", they should have. Dick and I are so appreciative of all the messages and cards from you and you have helped us heal. We are able to celebrate Suzi's life each day and know we will do so until our own days' end. Thank you for the anecdotes that made us smile, like last year at Dewey when the call went out that "Suzi's loose!" And when a few of you thought she was giving you a kiss, but it was just her tongue falling out of her mouth. We are grateful for the pictures you sent and the memorials you made in her honor and memory. Thanks to the many of you who never knew her, but loved her anyway. One friend said, "Nancy, Suzi was everybody's dog." List Folks, she was our treasure and we are honored you felt that way about her, too. And please, when you talk to your own Bridge Kids tonight, thank them for us, too. Knowing they are there for Suzi as you have been for us gives us immeasurable comfort.
