Guest Morgaynn
I dunno I guess that might sound weird. DH came home and took Nike out for a walk. When he got back he noticed some dried blood on her "armpit" is the best I can describe it.. Where her elbow on her front leg meets her body. But we couldn't see any visible wound.. it looked chapped to me. We looked to see if maybe the cat might have scratched her,(She's a little nosey for his taste some days and he tells her so) but didn't see anything like a scratch mark on her..... just thought it a little odd. We put a little neosporin on the spot and she left it alone. Two days later and she looks fine... you couldn't even tell she was chapped. It's been really windy out here, and my lips have gotten a little windburned, so I guess I just figured maybe she got a little chapped herself, just in a really weird place. dante2zoe
Sometimes Dante looks a little chapped - reddish, but the skin is dry and unbroken - under his arms. It happens when his harness or coat is not adjust right and seems to rub when we are out. It never bled though. packmom
Due to illness Angel has been malnurished for months and her skin is suffering. That's one of the first places that looked dry and flakey on her. I think it is really sensitve so it's possible.
Guest ArtysPeople
I'd say it's totally possible. In the dead of winter last year, Arty's armpits were wicked flaky.
