Guest EmbersDad
i just spoke with ember's surgeon and she confirmed the osteo diagnosis via the post amp biopsy. there was a very slim chance that it was a fungal infection, but the chance of that was slim to none, and slim was on his horse riding out of town. sooo...no need to second guess anything, i made the right decision. her chemo should begin next week and life will go on. greypuppyluv
At least you have a definite answer as to her diagnosis. With a dx of osteo, it's still a good idea to rule out Valley Fever since VF can sometimes look like osteo. Hugs to you and Ember and hoping you get to share many, many years together.
