Guest Mtidaddy
Good day all just wanted to introduce myself. I am in the military and have just came back state side (from Japan) in April, currently living in OKC, OK. I am the proud owner of two IGs (Mia and Beckham, we are soccer lovers) and now that we have the means we are working with our rescue group here (Hounds of the Heartland) to become a Foster Family. We are super excited as we have loved the breed for some time we rescued the IGs from shelters and got them due to the house we lived in at the time was smaller. Well now were are in a nice big house with a huge fenced in back yard and are ready to do our part to help this great cause. Any advise that anyone has on being a foster would be great seeing how this is going to be our first time. We have submitted the ap and are just waiting for the house visit and the welcome to the family day! Thank you for reading Brian

I will try again soon (just waiting for the foster). Please wish me luck that I will not fail.
Guest Mtidaddy
Thanks to you all. I got word that we might be getting a dog that raced in Australia? The pres of my group here said he held the world record for a while on the track!!!! then came up limping after one race they could never find out why but was never the same so he got retired. I did not get his racing name yet but as soon as I find out I will post it and hopfully some pictures soon. It is between him or a female that is in a foster home already, she is a great girl and we have meet her and she was awsome with our kids. The family that has her now are an experianced foster family and said that she would be a great first foster dog for a new family due to her being so good. So cross your fingers that we will have one of the two by early next week! I hope we can be a successful foster family and help out a few (knowing us we will fail at least once)
