Guest EmbersDad
some good news. the stitches are out, and she did smash 2 burger king cheeseburgers and a couple gourmet cookies. robinm has been kind enough to send some tripe, and i have half a cooked chicken breast for tomorrow morning in the fridge. here are a few pics of the healed incision. there are a few scabs which will eventually fall out. if you look closely, you will see the peach fuzz. its more evident where the patch was. chemo will be starting next week. thats our next hurdle. DaisyDoodle
I'm so glad that she's eating. I wonder if aloe would help the irritation from the fentanyl patch? I consulted the pharmaceutical scientist I know and he said that the irritation from the patch is probably due to the alcohol in the patch which would dry the skin.
