rascalsmom
If you are applying eye drops, does it matter if the third eyelid is covering the eye? Does that prevent the drop from getting into where it needs to go? Buddy is getting wise to all the drops, and often will close (or partially close) that nictitating membrane when I go to apply the drops. Quote Phoebe (Belle's Sweetpea) adopted 9/2/13. Guest Lori
I would think some of the med would still get in there. I found that sitting behind Ruby and dropping it into her eye over the top (where she couldn't see me as well) was easier. Sometimes if you can just get it in the corner of the eye even when it's closed it will spread over the eyeball.

Yep, you can also kind of press the eyelids together a little to make sure it doesn't just fall off the edges. Jenn
