My 5 year old Chloe is doing great, however, we noticed a small dime sized red ring which looked like a bulls eye tick rash in between her hind legs on the soft baby skin. I called the vet and the tech said that dogs do not get the same manifestations as humans (no bulls eye rash). Now the rash is gone and Chloe seems to be doing fine, but I am still nervous. Has anyone ever seen a bulls eye like rash on their greyhound? :unsure

There was a previous post similar to this a few weeks ago I believe. They had a photo so it should give you an idea if it was the similar. Sorry I can't recall what the end result was but I believe it's in this forum.

That post was mine about Gizzy. Our vet also said that the bullseye rash does not happen in dogs. We did however put her on a course of doxycyclyn just in case.
