Another Lucky Update

Lucky had a visit with his vet who practices holistic medicine she seemed very happy with his progress and current diet.

We had his levels tested for both PB and PBI. The results were very promising.

 

Phenobarbitol levels under theraputic range should be between 16 and 40.

Lucky was at 8 which means the drugs are not supporting his seziure free life style.

 

Potassium Bromide are still within range.

 

Dr. Cobb will be contacting us soon with a holistic approach to weaning Lucky off of the seizure meds.

 

We are so happy for him and the news keeps getting better and better on his recovery.

Now that is awesome to hear his PB levels are not withn therapeuitic range, yet Lucky continues to be seizure free! you go Lucky!

 

Henry's doing very well on Lucky's special homemade recipe too. He's gone from seizing once a week, to every three weeks instead. We started July 24th. I totally reccomend trying this recipe to anyone who has a dog with epilepsy. (tweaking may be needed as dogs are individual)
