Guest dmona Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 For those of you who posted that your puppers didn't like the yeast by itself: 1/2 c Nutritional yeast flakes 1/2 c Flour 1 tsp salt 2 c water 1/4 c margarine 1/2 tsp. garlic powder A friend got this from a website and I admit I haven't tried it yet, but intend to as mine didn't take to it either. stlgrey Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 We will definately try it!! She ate like two bites of her food today. She had a turkey neck, but I am afraid to go total raw since it could give her the diarrhea again. We will try the cheese sauce. Thank you for posting. Quote
Guest SusanP Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 (edited) We used to make grilled "cheese" sandwiches out of this recipe when we were trying to stick to a vegan diet. Kind of tasty, but if the dog didn't like the yeast in its natural form, I'm not sure this will change anything. If she doesn't like it, maybe the humans in the home can have a go at it. Hmmm, my recipe may not have been identical. I think a bit of lemon juice was also involved. Edited September 7, 2008 by SusanP Quote
