Houndtime Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 Paul is minus three teeth and we are minus in the pockebook. Poor boy is miserable right now. I brought him in at 9AM and they didn't get to him until late afternoon. We picked him up at 6PM and he was very loopy. I also asked for the chiropractor to look at him and apparently he did not get to check out his back leg. I guess that is fine as I was thinking that he is walking better lately any way. He is drooling red gunk, so I put a towel under his face. I offered him some chicken and he turned his head away. I hate seeing him like this, but, I know his teeth did not look good to me, even with turkey necks, brushing and water additives. So keep our sweet Paulie boy in your thoughts tonight so he will feel better tomorrow. Houndtime Posted August 29, 2008 Author Share Posted August 29, 2008 Good morning and it is a better day. He was hungry this morning so I gave him a small can of Wellness chicken and sweet potato. I mixed in his antibiotic, 1/2 deramaxx and the rest of his supplements. He hadn't eaten in over 24 hours, so he was really starving. He is also drinking a lot of water. The bleeding seems to have stopped and I don't think I am going to give him another deramaxx because he is not panting and ate without any problems. His tongue is falling out of his mouth, though. His has a big space in front where the two front, top, teeth were removed. Thanks for all the good thoughts.
