dbullwinkel
posting this for my friend..her 12 year old westy has swollen glands all over her body. vet did blood work and aspirated one node. she will get results tomorrow.. I am wondering..this dog has had many, many urinary infections..always treated with antibiotics. I also think she takes the meds for incontinence. not sure what it is. since the vet never did a culture regarding the recurring urinary infections, is there is chance that the swollen glands are a result of a un-resolved infection? I used this vet for a while and was not happy with him..but she likes him because he is not expensive..that is her choice, but I am trying to find out any information I can for her regarding this illness. thank you in advance. Guest charmsmom
All I can tell you is if it IS lymphoma, it is very manageable. Sorry to hear about the possibility of this diagnosis...
