dmswartzfager Posted August 7, 2008 Share Posted August 7, 2008 Dr. Weigt and I were finally able to talk yesterday afternoon, and with Blitz's sensitivities and tendencies to get side effects of most medications, we decided to give the intralesional injection of steroids a try. So in a few minutes, I'm going to take him to Dr. Weigt's office, and she will sedate him to do the injection because it hurts like a so-and-so. Poor dude. It actually looks worse now because more skin has come off closer towards his nose, so the whole eyelid is just raw. Thankfully, he doesn't bother at it, but still, poor dude. Hopefully this injection will work. I will say a prayer for your sweetheart Blitz that the injection works and takes care of your cutie pie. Domino just took a stick to his conjunctiva a couple weeks ago and I know how irritated his eye was for two weeks after that. I can barely guess what pain your poor guy is going through with his sad eye!! Tiger, Bueller and Domino are sending Blitz some healing doggie kisses.
