Guest ss556
Alan has flea bites that he's allergic to. I cannot find fleas on him anymore and so far I've only seen three on him. I know it only takes one.... My vet suggested treating my yard and bombing my house. Can anyone tell me what products are safe?
montgomery2524
My Toby has flea allergies. He is treated with Frontline and lots of flea combing. Last time the fleas were so small they were going right through the comb. In the yard I use diatomaceous earth. It is natural so it doesn't hurt the dogs. Here are a couple URLs with info. http://www.ghorganics.com/DiatomaceousEarth.html http://www.dirtworks.net/Diatomaceous-Earth.html Make sure you get the food grade kind. They have a DE for pools and you don't want that kind. Guest weisster
I am remembering now that you can spray your lawn with a combo of dawn liquid and water. I found this site you might find useful... http://www.asktheexterminator.com/Fleas/Ho..._of_Fleas.shtml
Chicocat
There is a product called "Knock Out" that can be purchased at vet clinics that can be used safely with greyhounds to treat the house. Quote Ann
Guest GiJenn51
It could help putting a bit of garlic in his food too. I've found that fleas are a little less with it, and its good for their heart.
