Corn Hulled Wednesday - Shouldn't He Be Walking?

Our 8 1/2 year old greyhound developed a very large corn on his front left foot (4th pad). Our vet used the Grasmere procedures to hull it on Wednesday. She said it worked just like they said it would. However, I was expecting Austin to walk normally out of the clinic. Not only is he not walking normally, but now he refuses to use the left leg at all and is on 3. Have others had this experience? Is the paw just sore from the hulling and I'm being impatient?

Thanks,

Cindy
