which is why most of the pics are of the dogs :lol

The most exciting part of the day was a little dog jumping out the window of an SUV to attack Jet and Ryan who both decided he'd make a good snack.

Gotta see wildlife to feed them...

photo from the east side entrance - might be St Mary Lake, but not sure

on the way back to the hotel - outside the park... Ryan likes mountain run off

Jet wasn't impressed...

Half the road was closed - the middle half, where it seems all wildlife must have been hanging out. Long trip to go around and see what was open on the road on the other side.

We found Glacier park pretty boring today, very over-rated. Yellowstone was much better

The east side of the park isn't much to see. The real part of the park (top and west side) doesn't get going until July.

That lake was St Mary's.

Jeff,

Have you tried some of the local cuisine? One of my bosses (we work for the Commissary) was stationed in WA and he always traveled to all of the commissaries in AK. He would always bring back moose jerky...eww. The most disgusting thing he ever brought back was..........'Stinky Beaver'. I can live several more lives without ever knowing this thing.

592 miles today.

Add another 23 wal-mart trailers and one we saw yesterday, for a total of 117

gas went from 3.95 to 4.49 :angryfire totally no reason for that!

Come down the western coast a bit. California is even higher than that! Nasty isn't it!!!

I lived here for a bit, some 18 years ago. Never missed it when I left due to the weather

But you have to admit the weather the last two days has been marvelous :D
