Guest Tenderhearts
I lost my beloved Skittle at the tender age of 5. I have tried and tried to put together a video in honor of her memory, but it's still too raw, even after a year. I did find the packet of all the puppy pictures her original mom took as she was fostering pregnant momma dog and subsequently helped whelp that litter. I have them scanned, but they are on my pc that is being repaired right now. I will add them to this post, and perhaps a few more pictures when I get the computer back. I think it's no small coincidence that Randy, Amber, and I are going to a gathering of greyhound friends later today. Randy will be able to see the wonderful people who tended him the 2 1/2 years he was at Race The Wind, waiting for someone to adopt him. Randy was inconsolable after losing his cuddle buddy, his beloved pitbull sister. He has healed, and I hope eventually I will too. I am looking forward to laughter, love, and making new friends today.
Guest greyt2love
Devon, I remember when you lost Skittles. I was just lurking then, but had been doing so for quite some time, and saw all the stories of her. May your heart remember all the good times even as you make new memories to day .
