Could Someone Please Squeeze Their Tube Of Petrodex Toothpaste?

Came home from my afternoon run yesterday to find Heath ate the entire tube of toothpaste. No problems this AM other than runny poo, and I can see a little bit already moving through the system. He's a good chewer so I'm just going to keep my eyes on him and make sure no odd behavior comes up. Since I only adopted him ~2months ago and only sporadically brushed his teeth during this time I can't remember what the tube is made out of.

 

Is it a plastic tube, or metal tube? He left some of the harder bits behind (good guy! I think....). Thanks!

My tube appears to be all plastic/vinyl, no metal at the screw parts either.
