patricia
Both houndies went to the vet today. Pavé for her wellness and shots...and Flash for a re-check on his funky labs. Pavé got a clean bill of health. As for Flash...I have been talking with Dr. Couto. He feels that the 2 liver values that were off are lab error especially since his other lab values were fine. We will have those tested again in a couple of months. As for his urine...he was concerned as we were with his low specific gravity at 1.010 and the 3+ protein. So he wanted them to send his first morning urine for a U/A-UPC. We did that today and should hear tomorrow. Also he wanted him to have his BP taken due to the protein in his urine. His BUN and creat. are normal. Well his BP was 120/95 and they repeated it numerous times. I hope that everything comes back normal with his urine this time. Anyway...Flashy has a fractured molar and is going in for a dental Monday morning to extract that tooth. Quote Patti-Mommy of Lady Sophia 7-28-92 - 8-3-04... LaceyLaine 8-2-94-12-5-07... patricia
Thanks everyone. We got Flashy's UA back and he is still showing 2+ protein...however his specific gravity was at 1.028 up from 1.010 and his UPC was very good at 0.2~he is scheduled at 8:30 am Monday for his dental and I am nervous...he does not tolerate anesthesia well at all...wakes up thrashing...paces all night after he gets home...vocalizes for HOURS and hours...and just isn't himself at all. They are having us bring him in at the last minute...right when they are ready to start because he is so anxious at the clinic. Quote Patti-Mommy of Lady Sophia 7-28-92 - 8-3-04... Burpdog
Almost all of my guys have a 2 or 3 + protein and the ratio is fine, so if you are concerned I'd do the ratio. If he is acting fine, I wouldn't worry about it Will be thinking of him Monday! Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
