She loved her so much, and I know that Flippy was her constant companion and nursemaid/bed buddy. I know Flippy will miss Trish very much, but thanks to many caring friends, she has a handful of families who have requested to foster and/or adopt her. I am praying that Flippy finds a new loving home and that Flippy is loved the way that Trish would have wanted, if she couldn't be here to take care of Flippy herself. She was truly a WONDERFUL person who made a difference in the lives of many people and in the lives of many greyhounds. I know that her "Peatie" was waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge with his paw extended and with many kisses waiting - saying "Welcome Home Mom - I have missed you terribly". She was truly someone who touched many hearts and souls throughout her short lifetime. I feel truly blessed to call her a "Friend". I have never met Trish - but we talked on the phone a few times and corresponded through our emails. I know that I am a richer person for having her in my life. Many prayers and white light to her family and friends during this most difficult time. May your spirit live on in all of us !! My heart goes out to her family, and I pray that God wraps His loving arms around all of them and gives them strength, comfort, rest, and the peace that passes understanding. Life's tragedies are beyond explanation, but love gives us the strength to get through them. She touched all of his with her kindness, her humor, her good nature, and her talent.
