Meandmy
My new vet only carries K9 Advantix, which I don't want to use on my pups. I want to get them on something ASAP as I'm already late (I usually start the first of April) and I've had to pull a tick off Shadow already. I'm going to a meet & greet at Petco tomorrow. I know they carry Frontline Plus, but is it the same as I would get at the vets? Thanks! winnie
You don't need an RX to get Frontline Plus. Lots of pet stores and catalogs sell it. So, yes, it's probably the same one your vet's office carries. Guest FullMetalFrank
Frontline and Advantage used to be only available from a veterinarian; but for some years now have been available OTC, same stuff.
Guest greytkidsmom
As everyone else has already said, the Frontline Plus at Petco is the same as you would get at the vet. In my experience, Petco's price was about $20 more than I found Frontline for on the internet. You may want to go ahead and get a dose or two now since you already have seen some ticks on your baby but look into internet suppliers to save some money (maybe even enough for a new collar or two...) Guest Dillymom
My vet will match the price that I find online and have it shipped to me. You might want to call your vet and see if they do that as well.
