Guest celticfairiemom
A few days ago we noticed a red bump on the outside of Callie's ear. I thought it was a tick at first but it's a lump on her skin. She still has hair there and it does not seem to bother her at all. It looks almost like a blood blister but it's not hard or mushy, it's just there. I am not sure if I just over looked it when we first got her but I don't think I did. Does anyone have any ideas of where to look up information for this? She has only the one bump - about large tick size - perfect circle, on the outside of her ear. thanks for the help

Guest DiforDan
My Slinky had something rather like this when we first got him. His was sort of pink and we thought "tick" at first. The vet looked at it and said it was not a tick but was probably nothing to worry about. It gradually shrank away over a few weeks and has now disappeared. I read what that site said and checked a few others using the right name. Looks like we should just watch it for growth. She has a vet appt. for late April, so I'll wait until then to get it checked. Thank You!!
