Guest stack
Is anyone familiar with Comfortis? It is a chewable product. It is dosed according to your pups weight. Says it starts killing fleas within 30 minutes of your pet taking the medication. Dose is monthly. Anyone using this medication? Thanks, Cammie's Mom PS How do I post a picture of Cammie? Guest greyvettech
I am a vt and we just started carring comfortis...In fact, I was going to start a disscusion about it....It works so well! It does start killing fleas within forty minutes but can take up to four hours...unfortunetly, the flea must bite the dog to die..My greys had a couple fleas and within three hours of receiving the pill, they were flea free! The thing I like about this product is you do not have to make sure you use a soap free shampoo so you don't wash off the topical such as frontline or advantage...It is very important to give comfortis with a meal...side effects are usually rare if given the appropriate dose...We can't keep comfortis in stock it's selling so fast....It is a little more expensive than advantage but cheaper than frontline..And personally, I believe it works longer than thirty days...but we are not supposed' to tell anyone that! Guest LadyChester
Is this different from CapStar?
Guest greyvettech
Is this different from CapStar? The active ingredient is different yes, the major difference is that capstar lasts for thirty two hours where comfortis last for thirty days, atleast-Both products work quickly but you're better off buying comfortis and getting longer coverage for a couple more dollars...
