Guest EmilyAnne
I always used regular old clippers fro my dogs in the past, but Henry's nails had been allowed to grow way too long before he was rescued, and so they are still on the long side to this day. I am hoping a Dremel or Peticure will allow me to get them shorter. This is the Peticure: http://www.peticure.com/ What do you think? Does the 'Peticure' look pretty nice? Or do you think the trusty old Dremel is best?
Guest goddessgina
I vote for the Dremel. At least you can see exactly what your doing with it. Also, with the Peticure work if your dogs nails are longer (and the dog is large)?
inugrey
It looks like the peticure is a dremel with a plastic cylinder around the sandy dremel part and nothing but a marketing tool. It also looks like it is harder to tell exactly where you are on the dog's nail. Personally, I'd go for the rechargeable dremel they sell in bags at Target or EBay. Guest EmilyAnne
I just saw this video: http://www.peticure.com/video1.html Apparently with this device, (the Peticure), you can't see what you are doing so you have to rely on counting to 3-5 seconds instead, and then look afterwards to see how far down you got. I'll be getting the Dremel!
