Last night DD had to say goodbye to her pet rat Alfred. He was 3 or 4 I think and they believe he had a stroke.

Alfred was purchased as snake food by one of her college friends. When placed in the snakes aquarium he promptly beat the crap out of the snake. :lol

Cassie rescued him when the friend decided to just put him in a box and leave him here. She named him Alfed the Ninja Rat. He has lead a life of rat luxery ever since.

Farewell Alfred. RIP.

Thank you for all your condolences about loosing Alfred. He was a very sweet rat. He didn't even bite, not even when one of my friend's 3 year old son would pick him up by the tail. I just wish he had been able to go with a little bit more dignity, especially after the tough fight he put up just to live in the first place. I will miss him very much. Farewell sweet Alfred.
