Guest EmbersDad
thanx for the well wishes. i can happily state that she is feeling wonderful. she is running around the house, playing with her toys, and generally making me into a bad daddy as i cant keep her therapaw slipper on her foot. even tho the vet said i can go sans bandage, i have heard her chewing at it. i bandaged it up one evening. she had it off the next, parts strewn around the house...i put on her therapaw slipper last nite, this morning it was off....put it on b4 i left for work...got home, it was off...soo..she's being naughty and rambunctious, i think she is fine ..i sooo dread the ecollar.... Guest KRKWMU
Geesh...you scared me for a minute! I thought that Ember was now a tripod hound 'til I saw your picture! Thank goodness it's just a toe! Glad she's being her mischievous self. Give her a hug for us!

pabozem
Heaven is dealing with a cut on one of her front feet, and I keep a muzzle on her (with a poop guard on the inside) all the time. Stitches should come out in about a week. She doesn't seem to mind it and I take it off frequently so she can get a drink of water. E collars are a pita! You might try that instead of the collar. turbotaina
Well, no harm in leaving them in a bit longer on an amputation Quote Meredith with Heyokha (HUS Me Teddy) and Crow (Mike Milbury). Ruth
That's just what Tess' looked liked at 2 weeks and just as soon as the stitches were out she was fine. Didn't slow her down a bit. We just put socks on her when she went outside. We were like you about 2 days over the come out time and she had had enough of this so she took her own bandages off as well. She had 2 toes done at the same time. One right front and one on the left back. She is back to the fun police thing. Ruth
