Guest TinasTroops
Let me introduce you to our Permanent Foster Cai-Yah AKA Cyah (See-Yah), Purple Polkadot http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?i=1195817 And here is her story, 2 weeks before Christmas I walked into the kennel early - a few minutes earlier then 9pm turnout and before Jen & Bill showed up. Only to be met by a "new" comforter and tote bag. Knowing that a pup had been returned I went into the kennel to see everyone say hi and check out who it may be. I was present with this face.... My heart melted but knew DH would never go for it. Bill walked in to see me emotional. I pleaded with him to let me foster her, knowing DH would allow that much. I saw the snicker and smirk on his face and told me to give him a few days to asses her. I got a call a few days later and was told if I still wanted to foster her I could. I couldn't wait till the weekend and raced out there on a Thursday night to get her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bill called Friday night and said he may have someone interetsed in her, I said nope she is staying here! Honestly....... I think it would kill me to give her up. She is an absolute joy to have around and is perfect in simple every way. She is perfect in EVERY way and I can't bare the thought of placing her anywhere else other then with our family.LOL We will see how long it will take DH to wrap his head around this one??!! Permanent foster seems to sound better for him right now, he walks around saying we have 4.5 dogs! So for DH's sake meet our perm. foster or as DH says .5 of our 4.5 dogs Edited January 29, 2008 by TinasTroops

greytpups
Congrats Tina (and Eric of course!) I still remember when you laughed at me when I naively asked about the 3 dog limit by-law. I'm not surprised...I overheard you at the fundraiser telling someone "she wasn't going anywhere!" Welcome Cyah...hope to meet you soon. My blog about grief The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not get over the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. GreyPoopon
Sorry I missed this T. As I said on the GRA board, the important part of the description is permanent. It hardly matters whether the next word is foster or adoptee. Congratulations to you, and especially to Cyah.
