I just got another call a little bit ago and he was sleeping, still wouldn't eat for them. We are going back tomorrow morning at 9:00 to see him and he may get to come home then. It was hard, as expected, to see him for the first time. Even though you know the leg is gone, it is still a little shocking. The bruising and the fluid build up is probably even scarier though. His entire underside is heavily bruised and the skin around the belly was hanging in some spots. Dempsey was hopping around though and initially wouldn't lay down. Of course he finally settled down soon before it was time for us to leave. I miss my boy and I'm ready for him to come home. Di he eat for you? Hope he is doing ok! Thanks for heeping us posted.
