smday Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 Reggie left for the Bridge around 5:00 this morning. Some of you know that he has had some breathing issues over the past year. He had been doing well but started to rapidly go down hill yesterday. I took him to his regular vet and then later to the specialist vet/emergency center where the vets had been treating him for high blood pressure. They called around 4:00 am to say that he had shown some improvement on oxygen but was now worsening. He hadn't responded to any medication and the vets were sure he had lung cancer. I headed on down and he died almost as soon as I got there. I am sure he has already joined his sister and brothers and that they are all chasing tennis balls in the sky.
