Guest Snowy8 Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 (edited) I just got home from church & we, the doggies not the church ladies, had a can of tripe in his memory tonight! The girls in my group gave me a really nice card...none of them have doggies for children, they all have humans & even though they don't know exactly how I feel...they've all known me long enough to understand how I feel. We've learned about each other's children. I cried & they hugged. The pain hasn't let up yet. I do have some really wonderful memories & some really funny ones & I still have a knot on my head where me & Dear collided once in the back yard while I was picking up mushrooms. The black eye was from BuyCut, but the goose egg was from Dear. Whenever I smell tripe, I'll always think of Dear. When I walk through the house, he always has his head up under my hand like: I'm holding your hand mommy. I didn't cry today until I found this picture.
