Guest greytexplorer
Please keep Mandy (age 10) and Ester (age 7) in your thoughts today, as they "go under" for their teeth cleanings. I'm a big believer in the power of GT. many thanks, ~Pat

Guest greytexplorer
Thanks everyone. I know a dental cleaning isn't that big of a deal, given all the hurt that is going on right now with many GTers. But dang I just HATE anesthesia. I hate it when I have to have it! It creeps me out, and esp when it's my gyrls that are going under. Just talked to the clinic, Mandy is waking up right now and Ester is "in progress". So far, so good. Thanks so that nice hug, DeVon, I really needed it! ~Pat

Guest greytexplorer
Just got back a little while ago with BOTH my gyrls! Since they were under anesthesia anyway, I had them do some extra work, and here are the prices, if anyone is interested in comparison pricing: 1-canine dental $170. 1-nail trim $10.00 1-anal gland expressed $20.00 1-urinalysis $37.00 Glad I had them pull urine while Mandy was under, turns out she still has a uti. So back on the Baytril we go. Anyone have any idea why Mandy has chronic uti? Any suggestions for dietary change or supplements? They did same for Ester, and her specific gravity was 1.003, which is low according to vet, and her last creatinine value was slightly elevated, if I remember correctly. Any thoughts on that? Gee I just hijacked my own thread! Everybody, I can't thank you enough for thinking of us today. I am very greytful for your support. Think I'll have me an adult beverage now. ~Pat
Guest Tenderhearts
Glad the girls are home! :clap :clap The only suggestion I have on the UTI is to switch to filtered water.
