Guest asbprimeau
Hello! We're new to GH's and GreyTalk. We've started the application process through a rescue organization and are very excited to get our first GH!!! We live in south-central PA and currently have 2 cats (who where dropped off in the middle of nowhere during a drought and a week of 90-degree weather). Our cats really don't act like the stereotypical cat---they are very outgoing and love strangers, even in large numbers! I've really enjoyed all the forums on here and find everything to be so informative. We love the pictures and the links to videos!
Guest SusanP
Welcome! Will you get to meet a number of hounds or will your organization find one for you? This is such an exciting time for you!

Guest bowiebears
Welcome from the MD 'burbs of DC! I'm originally from Lanc. Co. PA, but haven't lived there since 1975. My sister lives in Lebanon PA. You'll find this an interesting and entertaining place. --Isaac

Guest asbprimeau
SusanP--the organization profiles dogs while they're in a foster home, so I think they'll sort of pick one that they think will fit best. I'm sure it also depends on what dogs they have available, so maybe we will have to choose one out of several.
Guest 2sm
Hello! I don't have much experience, since we've only had our first grey for three weeks. BUT, after the fact, I felt we rushed into the selection of the dog just a bit. Of course we love our new family member and would never dream of giving him up, but I do wish I had looked at and considered a few more dogs before taking the plunge.
