Vet ASAP! That would be an emergency vet visit if your regular vet isn't open this morning.

Definitely vet ASAP! I'd call your group now, even if it is really late. Our foster has an amputated toe and it was swelling occasionally. We got a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and that helped. We've had a different foster in our group that had to have surgery again because there was a piece of bone stuck in his foot. Amputations can take a while to heal, but this definitely sounds like an emergency.

UPDATE: Buddy is doing better we took him to the vet and it found out that there was some wood in his pad (what are the chances that he steps on it w/ THAT particular foot lol) so hes on anti inflammatories and some other stuff if he gets an infection tho in his bone it will most likely be that he will get his leg amputated so please pray that that wont happen. the hard part is....trying to keep a 17 month old puppy from playing rough w/ him grrrrr
