brindlebaby Posted August 23, 2007 Share Posted August 23, 2007 (edited) In memory of our beautiful boy Kony who went to the bridge suddenly on August 21, 2007. Everyone who met him, loved him. Our hearts are broken. He is healthy and whole, patiently waiting for us, maybe even roaching on a cloud. This picture was taken a week after Kony came to live with us in 2000. He stayed in a kennel in our yard because he and Kodi did not get along. Herman said he had enough, put a leash on Kodi and one on Kony and took them on a walk. They were brothers from that day on. The two in front are our girls, PJ and Scampie, who are playing with Kony at the bridge. Kony trying one of Duncan's treats with Kodi anticipating his turn. Kony, Callie and Kodi on the couch...unusual to catch all 3 up there at one time. Just happened to catch Kony & Callie roaching together. Christmas 2005 What a fiasco it was to take that picture! Getting to know his new sister July her first day home in April 2007. Kony & Herman were on the front page of two of our local papers shortly after 9/11.
