Guest gonewtthewind1
Hi!, I know a lot of you guys use real bones to help clean teeth. Which bones do you use? I heard about turkey necks and knuckle bones. Which knuckle bones? How often?I was looking to just give them bones for them to enjoy and to help keep their teeth clean. Thanks! TheFullHouse
Marrow bones are what I use. They just hard enough to do a good job cleaning their teeth. You can use knuckle bones also but they're a little softer than marrow bones. Guest seaturtle123
Ok, for the ultimate stupid question---where do you get marrow bones???? Do you ask for them at the meat dept?????
Guest cleo570
Our local grocery store sometimes has them packaged in the refridgerated case - otherwise, I just ask the person working at the butcher counter for large soup bones or marrow bones. Sometimes they just give them away.
