patricia Posted August 18, 2007 Share Posted August 18, 2007 (edited) This morning Lacey was in the yard doing her thing after breakfast. She wandered around for awhile and I was watching her carefully as she has a habit of wanting to run all the time and she had just ate. She was on the side of the yard when I asked her if she was ready to come in. She took off like a bolt and ran through the deck rails like our little ones do. She screamed bloody murder and from what I can tell she hit her tummy and hind legs. I did a once over look and see when she came in and nothing was bleeding as far as I can tell...she went to the couch and is resting and she won't let me get a good look at her tummy. I am going to let her rest for a bit and then check her over again. She is not shaking any more but I am. After I get another good look I am going to call Dr. Beth and see what she can have for pain should we need it this afternoon...I don't want to give her anything without consult due to her meds. Dr. Beth wants her leash walked and quiet for at least 3 days...I said well then you better keep her She also said we may see some pretty good bruising on her tummy by tomorrow.
