I would do the same thing: not put the hound through unnecessary 'vet tortures' as he's so scared. My Ivy is scared to death of vets too...it's heartbreaking to see a hound so terribly full of fear. I wish you strength and hope that Buzz will pass very peacefully...I'll keep you in my thoughts.
