Guest Shermanator Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 (edited) We have been round, and round, and round about this decision, but between my DH, myself, and our very grey-savvy vet, we decided that it would be in Patton's best interest to remove the toe that has been plagued with corns. It has only been this one toe in over 2 years, and we have tried everything, and the rotten corn keeps returning, and getting worse. I know many people do not believe in this decision, but he's miserable, we're miserable, and we firmly believe this will improve the quality of his life. That's all we want for him. Patton will go in for surgery tomorrow morning @ 8am PST, and I will get to pick him up the next morning. Please wish my little buddy the best. I love my Cheesy Peesy Boy.
