DD and her BF took the greygirls out for an evening walk.

Thankfully she had the cell phone with her and called me to come and get Mandy.

Apparently Mandy stepped on something, let out the gsod, which panicked DD (we have never heard that before!).

Mandy will BARELY put any weight on her front left leg/foot. I had to carry her up the stairs, after having driven to the spot where injury occurred. She hopped/stumbled to her bed and lay down. I have just given her another dose of previcox for pain. Her foot is a bit swollen. Looking for bag of frozen peas to put on it now.

She doesn't seem to be in distress---not panting or whining.

I guess a trip to the vet will be in order tomorrow.

Any guesses as to what in the world she has done to herself?

Please don't tell me anything is broken. :unsure

Double-check the pads for injury. Slivers of glass, wood, etc. might be caught in a pad.

Remove with glue (a touch of Krazy Glue on a needle, to adhere and pull out of the end is exposed), or forceps if you can get to it.

oh yall, I appreciate all the thoughts

No signs of anything on her paw

it's clean as a whistle

swollen quite a bit tho

I even thot it might be a snake bite, but there is absolutely no marks on her paw

I am guessing a sprain right now

I picked her up and put her on the couch

Maybe she will roach
