Guest CaroleWithRunningDogs
I'm wondering what to do with what looks like it might be a cavity in my big girl. Has anyone had this too? Do we go to a doggy dentist or do they take the whole tooth? I'm not excited about her whole tooth going but it sure does look like a cavity on the top of her back molar. This is not tartar or anything like that, really looks like a cavity and I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for any help. Guest robingrey
It sounds like it's time for a dental visit? I think your regular vet can handle it.
Guest Winterwish
Dogs definitely can get cavities. The vet visit will give you the answer as to the next step, hopefully that'll be the only tooth affected. If the tooth needs to be pulled, both of you will feel so much better when it's over with. Guest CaroleWithRunningDogs
Thanks People - When I first saw it I thought maybe she had left over food in her teeth, but not for days does she have left over food in her teeth. We have a followup appointment on Tuesday and I guess we'll go from there. Carole
