I spent all day Friday getting shopping for my hound to be. Costco membership, costco dog beds(4), crate shopping, baby gate shopping etc...I finally hit Petsmart around 7PM & had just enough strength to find her food. As I was leaving the store a man entered that looked familiar to me but couldn't quite place him, but he had a tee shirt on with greyhound faces on it. That was all I needed-without even introducing myself I latched onto him & dragged him into the store & told him that I was getting my hound tomorrow & needed help picking out more stuff. Off we went with another empty cart & I dragged him up & down the aisles shopping for the proper dog dishes, kongs, treats, toothbrushes & stuffies. By now I remembered him from several meet and greets & asked how his wife was doing - he just cracked up laughing & said he didn't have a wife because he was a retired catholic priest??!!! Talk about foot in mouth!! I don't think this guy even remembered why he came to Petsmart in the first place after dealing with me. I will see him at the next meet & greet & properly introduce myself!
