Bill419
Susie came to us 3/03/05 at almost 14 years old with kidney disease and blessed our home with her presense for 14 months. At 15 her body just wore out. She was my little sweetie and I still love and miss her terribly. I miss the way her teeth chattered at mealtime and the way she stood between your legs when you were standing and talking to anyone (she was only 53 pounds). When I picked up her leash she was always the first one to the door. She loved her ice cream that she got after her sub Q fluid treatments (ice cream is low protein so she could eat all she wanted). Susie was a hit at Sandy Paws in 2006 riding in her yellow wagon with the signs on it that said "PRINCESS SUSIE". She celebrated her 1st gotcha day at the "Salute to Seniors" at Sandy Paws on 3/03/06. I'm glad that Susie is still working for greyhound adoption. At M&G's when people ask me the lifespan of a greyhound, I tell them 11 or 12 but they can live longer and I use Susie and Suzy as examples.
