Guest chadmom Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 I've posted about Chad's battle with Osteosarcoma in the Health/Medical forum. On Thursday, May 3 Chad was freed from his pain and sent to the bridge to run free with all the other greys before him. Since his diagnosis we had 8 wonderful weeks to spend with him, more than we expected after his diagnosis. He was much loved and spoiled. I could not have asked for a more perfect greyhound. When the time is right, we will adopt again, but Chad has left some big paw prints to fill. It's not the same around the house without him. I miss seeing umpteen doggie beds, just for one dog. I miss having my children's good wooden toys chewed apart. I miss having you stand beside me in the kitchen pleading with those beautiful eyes for just one bite of whatever I was making.
